Splawn Quick Rod Sampler

A sample video of my amazing Splawn Quickrod head and Zilla 2x12. I'm running the head at half power and the volume is at around 8 o'clock. At these levels she sounds amazing, but when cranked the QR is something else. Just a noodle around really, so apologies for the ropey playing and lack of anything cohesive.

great great chunk man!! that sounds awesome. I wanted to make sure, in the beginning, the letters were cut off in the opening credits, that is a G12 and a V30 in the cab? sounds awesome. I have a nitro, and am seriously thinking of trading it for a Quickrod..just personal taste.

Yessir G12 and a V30 in the 2x12. I've found that I run less gain with the G12 as well. I love both heads but find the QR better with my marshall using band cohorts.

Hey man, sorry I took so long coming back, not been on here for a while. I dont think I've changed much since this vid, so the dials are as follows: Pres 1oc, bass 12.30oc, mid 2oc, treb off, sol 9.30oc, vol 9, gain 1oc, 3rd gear. Clean channel bass 1oc, treb 11oc, vol 11oc, gain 11oc. I think that's the lot.

Hey I was wondering If this can do really tight, mid rangy rhythm like Dream Theater stuff. I know if can deffinatly do the leads and cleans, haha.
