Spray foam icynene insulation being applied in a 1930's home in California.

  • In this case, it's a stucco exterior over plank sheathing. I suppose that could happen with just wood siding, especially if the siding didn't have any weatherproofing/ building paper behind it. Interesting point.

  • In that last wall cavity it looks like the seams between each plank had to first be caulked. I wonder if it still pushes a lot of clapboards out here and there, if it 'leaks' and then expands where you wouldn't expect it; through wiring & plumbing holes.

  • @skyhacker6 he was pushing in the power cables so the foam doesnt force them outside the wall

  • Why does he put his hand on the foam when it's growing ?

  • that guy is hella good at spraying foam id hire him if he need a job hit me up if you know this guy i do foam as a side job and would like to know if he would like to give a chance at starting a little business together
