Helping Dogs with Other Dogs: The "Sniff and Circle" Game.

Sniff and Circle was a game Allison learned at the Nichole Wilde conference. The dogs all start on mats and then circle around to smell the other dog's mats. The goal is to break down the components of "a dog" into the different senses (Here, the sense of smell is targeted. In class, we also clicked for looking at other dogs -quickly so we can capture the dogs before a reaction- and for the next time we run this lesson, we will add in desensitizing sounds of collar tags.) As you can see, the dogs were very focused on the smells!
