"The Way Back Home" is a book by beloved children's author and illustrator Oliver Jeffers, and it is also now a wonderful family theatre piece by Big Wooden Horse, which is being performed at artsdepot as the Half-Term Show from Monday 24 October -- Sunday 30 October 2011.

This is a magical, inter-galactic adventure based on the book by children's author Oliver Jeffers, from the team that brought audiences "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus". One day a boy finds a plane in his cupboard. He flies his plane higher and higher until he runs out of petrol and lands on the moon. He is frightened, lost and alone, until a passing Martian lands there too! Who is the strange alien? Can they be friends? And how will they find their way back home?
