@Coolesttech well at this point i am using the oil filter cartridge - spin on type. I will be cutting it and filling with fine steel wool - apparently it works perfectly. just need to find the time:)

How are you filtering the blow-by? What kind of filter? I'm thinking of doing the same on my HDJ81. I heard it can sometimes reduce exhaust smoke.
-
@Coolesttech no impact at all, it usually goes in to the air can anyway, I just did it to keep it sealed from the water. The oilfilter I am hoping will collect the oil from blow-by.

Louis, what impact did redirecting the valve cover out have?

@elitecssplayer "Catching" air does absolutely nothing - like a ram, it actually doesn't ram anything, there is no boost in air pressure from forward movement so there is really no advantage to it. I pointed it backwards so it doesn't catch leaves trees and dirt. I'
ll be putting a mushroom type canister on it when i can find one that flows enough air. thanks for watching!
