For the locals back in the early 1960s, La Jolla's Torrey Pines Cliff were known for three things, 1) the Glider Field, 2) Blacks Beach's for surfing and nakedness, and 3) for pushing cars off. Mac Meda's Jack MacPerson and Bob Rackstraw started these events back in 1961
San DIego, as well as the rest of Amerika, was on it's death-bed, by the end of the Seventies. However, the memories of growing up there--experiencing a literal paradise that San Diego would have to offer, back during that Golden Era--the Nineteen-Fifties, Sixties-n-Seventies; well, to remember, is a privilege, that only the chosen-few, myself included, will always cherish, forever, and on...Yes, for the Era was given, to those of us, who were there; the chosen-few, that would come.

So thoughtless to do that to such a beautiful place.

That was fucking cool. I wish San Diego was still laid back and down with doing crazy shit like that these days. Now they freak out if you wander around on the beach in the Children's Pool. All these non natives visit San Diego and decide to stay. Too many people=no fun. :(
