New scientific studies regarding dogs and how dog and humans relate to each other. Domestication, nature-nurture, learningskills, love, attachment, science and other interesting topics relating to dogs and humans are shown in these vids.

A surprising theory is put forward: Dogs are wolfes genetically but they differ from wolfes in an important way. Dogs are child like in the way they relate to human beings, that is the reason we love them so much and the reason they love us back. Dogs are immature wolfes!

  • Dogs are going to help us tackle human diseases?! NOOO!! That means dogs living caged in laboratories 24/7 being experimented on like rats. Is that what the "deep bond" will mean for them?

  • What a wonderful series of video's. Thank you so much I enjoyed it very much.

  • @HiddenHeartsCry I completely agree with you -- good call.

  • @carmenbuit I have to call out the 'like rats' part. Domesticated rats are basically just like dogs. They feel just like they do. They are loyal and kind, intelligent and social. No animal deserves to be tortured to satisfy our curiosity.

Maybe you didn't meant it that way, but I couldn't let it go.

  • "He's clearly an animal"

Pretty sure humans are animals too, just sayin.

  • Dog is God backwards O.o

  • @carmenbuit well in vietnam they eat dogs!

  • @carmenbuit They use them to sniff out disease actually. Dogs can detect certain types of cancer. Some can even detect an oncoming epileptic seizure.

  • @carmenbuit Thats really good point. Lets hope if they get that role, that they be treated right since they are after all saving lives

  • @carmenbuit no carmanbuit, dont worry, the companionship between us, the emotions that arise throughout the bonds with an animal, more particularly dogs, can encourage our bodies to fight harder. On average, dog owners live longer then those who don't own dogs. It sounds strange and hard to believe but it is scientifically correct.

  • Anyone watch the PBS film "Dogs Decoded"? Incredibly similar.......

Like it's the exact same film.

  • @carmenbuit

Dogs can also recognize diseases like diabetes and cancer by smelling them.
