Throughout our history, religious leaders and organizations have claimed that their holy books provide accurate prophecies about the End Of The World. The examples shown in this video are (relatively) fringe organizations, but despite their overt activism and cult-like behavior, organizations like FamilyRadio.com provide a glimpse into what the more mainstream religions adhere to and believe.

Pastors, priests, apologists, ministers, religious philosophers and leaders of every kind, from every generation, have quoted from the books of Daniel and Revelation about the End of Days. Are their claims any less ridiculous? And should they be held any less accountable?

  • I don't know if anyone's mentioned this in the arguing below, but ... it's totally 2012

  • @chikitaloca911 Yes I've read the NT. As matter of fact use to be very devout believer. I don't consider the OT any less important the the NT. Especially considering the fact the Jesus quoted from the OT himself at times and even said 'he did not come to destroy the OT but to fulfill it. (matt 5:17,18). Bottom line, Jesus fully endorses the OT making the NT equally incompetent.

  • @chikitaloca911 Um i was friends with a girl, who was fine hanging out with me for a few weeks. When she found out I had walked away from my faith she judged me as "not worth her time". Im pretty sure in the bible there is a phrase that says they believe god is only fit to judge. I can't stand when people of faith pick and choose which to follow. It is more of an absolute kind of deal. If thats really the book from God then you have to take it all seriously and follow it all. Not pieces. BS!

  • @cyber151 I hate to use my friend as an example but after someone sneezed, or something like that, another person said "God bless you." And then my atheist friend laughed and corrected her, saying, "Honey, God isn't real." He didn't really respect her and he didn't really forced atheism down her throat. Maybe its untactful of me to use him as an example for all atheists but I just had to clue you in on that. Peace to you too, friend.

  • @CursedZebra Haha, I love the little warning you put at the top. And I know that, I just ignore it. I'm not focused on the slanders of my faith, I'm worried about the people who are suffering and who are going to suffer on the last day. I have friends who are atheist and their kind to me, as I am to them. I have a gay friend who is kind to me as I'm kind to him. (I didn't randomly include a gay friend, I meant that even though people act against my beliefs, I don't love them any less.)

  • @HoBustinJopson The fact that you said it was a lie, is your opinion. For the better or for the worse, I just want people to calm down. I know your angry, I'm angry too, but anger won't solve anything. Hmmm...you speak of Jonah, this leads me to believe that you've picked up the Bible before, yet you do not believe. I wonder if you've read the New Testament to?

  • @chikitaloca911 Y'know, i feel sorry for you ( This isn't a personal attack, don't worry). Christianity get such a bad name because of all the brainwashing and political scandals that sometimes people who just want to have a bit of faith get caught in the crossfire. I am perfectly ok with you believing what you want to believe and so is every other atheist but you have to see our point of view in all this to understand why some of us loathe you without even meeting you. It's not your fault.

  • WOOOHOOOO WE SURVIVED IT

  • @HoBustinJopson error: 'is' a santa claus....sorry

  • @chikitaloca911 You can stop lying. That means no more telling children there isn't a santa claus. That a man can live in the belly of a fish for 3 days and nites. Believe what you want but don't reproduce it. It's for the better of the world.
