Disclaimer: This may not be an issue with the game and may just be a problem with the control set up. I am using the TM Warthog stick, Saitek Pedals and TrackIR.
Here is a video of me trying to land at the airfield with the blades at flat pitch. It's really hard to get the aircraft into a decent descent profile when having the collective all the way down doesn't really have the effect it should.

@Subparanon No. In ToH the throttle is set to either off, idle or full. There isn't a slider setting to adjust the throttle.
