What was the original tune from? A game? A C64 demo? I'd really like to know.

If I remember correctly, it was only a musical demo by Scoop Design. The Noisy Pillars tune is composed by the legendary Tel Jeroen of "Maniacs of Noise" and was released in 1987. The year Jeroen wrote most of his best work.

I can honestly tell you it was indeed a music-demo by Scoop Designs. This is a remix of tune #3 from the demo "Noisy Pillars". I personally think I wrote the best work on C64 in 1988 though (my most productive year)...

Anyway, "Noisy Pillars" was the first real Maniacs of Noise release, as far as I can recall...

Thanks for remixing, always fun to hear...

Sincerely,

//Jeroen Tel / MoN

This is true, although I prefered versions 4 & 5 of the Ocean Loader by Jonathan Dunn.
