@marycockburn1 I bet Elvis would have loved the British fans too There would have been a slight accent problem but if Elvis coming from the South had no trouble speaking to yankees (In the US a yankee is a Northerner whereas in the British Isles Yankee usually just means any American) he would have no problem speaking to people from the British Isles and they sure would have understood him It's too bad Elvis never got to tour the British Isles It was the land of his ancestors
