At the Autism Society's 40th National Conference on Autism Spectrum Disorders July 25 in St. Charles, Ill., Dr. Brenda Smith-Myles moderated a panel discussion. Three self-advocates - Lars Perner, Sondra Williams, and Judy Endow - discuss the cultural aspects of autism. In this segment, Sondra Williams, an author and mother of four, all of whom were also diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, gives her perspective on the culture of autism.
This is a wonderful speech.
