Castlevania HD - Richter Chapter 10 Hard (w/ shortcut exploit)

Solo chapter 10 run, recorded mainly to demonstrate how to exploit the black hole glitch on the elevator using Richter's Spin Kick. Successful exploit occurs at 4:13.

Unnecessary flipping is unnecessary

@OtakuSage The way it's done in this video, certainly (shortly after this was recorded, I revised the technique a bit to flip towards The Count rather than away). But done appropriately, using somersault instead of a simple short hop increases the amount of time you have to inflict damage, making the fight a little shorter. Plus, it's a lot harder to screw up and you don't have to worry about the positioning nearly as much, so it's safer too.

Do you have to hold the stick in a certain direction after you do the spin kick?

@Fellowthread It's been a while and there are much faster and easier ways to glitch chapter 10 now, but if I recall correctly, you shouldn't be holding any directions while executing the spin kick. If you happen to hit the correct positioning, you'll be sucked into the wall automatically.

@professionalpoliwag Not sure it matters. It's been a long time since I acquired them though, it would be best to do your own research in case my memory fails me.
