Hm. Xu's forehand response to Joo's chop shows how well Xu is prepared for Joo's style. Instead of lifting Joo's heavy backspin by putting laborious topspin back, what he does is "dmash" (drive+smash even though it is more smash than drive), which turned out to be very effective against Joo. Not only does it steal Joo's time and precision for chop but also it requires much less stamina. Very clever way to play against choppers.

@MrLetsplayHistory Xu Xin just makes it look really easy because of his great forehands. Try watching Boll-Joo at the World cup 2011 abd you'll see how hard it is to break through his defence.

Well... at least this was somehow funny XD nice to notice that joo almost always misses thoose backhand pimple attacks in crucial moments and instead they work when he's playing "for fun". I think Xu Xin has never lost to a defender in his whole life...
