Yogurt provides your body with calcium, and makes a great snack. If your digestive tract needs support, however, Acidophilus Pearls is your best bet! Find out why.

  • It is true that a probiotic supplement is superior to active cultured food sources. Probiotics only stay alive for so long when they're in food. Enteric coating however, such as that found in acidophilus pearls should not be necessary. Though the enteric coating is protective from stomach acid, probiotics are not naturally found in enteric coating and should reach the GI tract on their own as they are naturally acid resistant. The enteric coating process may actually destroy viable bacteria.

  • God--her intestines are irritating! She sounds like a midwesterner, but her colon's pure Brooklyn!

  • @melissajacobi LOL! i said the same thing. But still good information

  • Close the refrigerator door. You are wasting energy.

  • Yogurt is not the best protein and if not organic you are feeding on all the crap they inject the poor cows with, plus packed with sugar. Gross. If anything, get organic Greek yogurt, plain, sweeten it with honey or agave, then add fresh or frozen fruits. YUM.

  • im taking tablets of these...they're yucky but like the doc. said...no more irregularity or yeast infections.
