LA Clippers @ NY Knicks
The Clippers will be over .500 by the end of 2009.
They have been playing surprisingly well without Blake Griffin.
When they get Griffin back, hopefully they can make a push for the playoffs.
But I'm not getting my hopes up, because they are, in fact, the Clippers.

New Jersey Nets @ Toronto Raptors
The Nets started with the worst record in basketball history. They won 2 out of 3 a while back, but they don't have enough against this Toronto team unless they can keep them under 100 points (which they have only been able to do 4 times this season).

Utah Jazz @ Atlanta Hawks
Huge game for both teams. Utah has trouble winning on the road, and this is a great test for Atlanta, facing one of the top teams from the western conference. Atlanta has won 5 in a row, and I'm looking for them to make that 6 tonight before they head on their road trip. I hope Josh Smith dunks on somebody, just NASTY!

Philadelphia 76ers @ Boston Celtics
Unfortunately since Iverson is back with Philly, they have gone from bad to worse (how that happens, i have no idea). Boston should just run over this team tonight. Win by 20.

Denver Nuggets @ New Orleans Hornets
The Nuggets also have trouble playing teams on the road. This will be a good test for them. The Hornets have been playing well lately with Chris Paul back in the lineup after that ankle sprain. Ty Lawson should have a great game tonight with Billups out of the lineup, but I'm looking at New Orleans to squeak out the victory at home.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Cleveland Cavilers
Cleveland. Big.

Sacramento Kings @ Minnesota Timberwolves
Nobody will watch this game but me. Tyreke Evans is giving Brandon Jennings a run for his money as rookie of the year. If the t-wolves stay out of foul trouble (i'm looking at you Al Jefferson), they might have a shot at winning.

Detroit Pistons @ Oklahoma City Thunder
Panic in Detroit! This franchise has just fallen apart since the departure of Billups last year. OKC has been so exciting to watch play. They have a great young core of guys playing very well together. Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Jeff Green. It's good to see Shaun Livingston back from that horrific knee injury, getting some minutes. This is a game between 2 teams that are going in 2 different directions. I think the Thunder might even make the playoffs this season.

Indiana Pacers @ Memphis Grizzlies
Two struggling teams trying to figure which direction they are going to go this season. I pick Memphis at home.

Houston Rockets @ Dallas Mavericks
Dallas is playing great right now. Dirk is leading the charge as usual. Kid is managing the games well. Jason Terry is such an offensive weapon coming off the bench. and Shawn Marion the MATRIX. Josh Howard is back from his injury. Dampier and the Mavs should just wear down the smaller Rockets tonight at home.

Washington Wizards @ Golden State Warriors
Rumor mill is going crazy with Arenas being Traded and Anthony Randolph going to the Wiz. Who knows what will happen. I think the Wiz are a stronger team here, even though they have been less than spectacular since getting Antwan Jamison back from shoulder injury. Corey Magette Sucks! Monta Ellis is an Iron man!

  • at that time, toronto was one of the worst defensive teams in the league so scoring over 100 wouldve been very possible...now obviously toronto improved a lottt

  • did anyone see deandre jordan destroy theo ratliff last night? one of the most nasty dunks of the year.

  • Rough losses by the Clips and Jazz. Two of my favorite teams too :-(

I agree with you though, the Clips will finish the season above 500 and challenge for the final playoff spot. That's all if Blake can return within the next month as they said he would.

  • yeah, i couldn't believe that. and without iverson, too. maybe iverson should just stay at home more often, God love him.

  • he dunked on boozer also...celtics lost to the 76ers at home thats not good

  • i thought he would dunk on okur, i had no idea it was gonna be deron.
