This is an accelerated version (reduced to from 30 to 10 minutes) of a complete Modified Class HO Slot car race. The SCHOR 2009 Modified Semi-Final at the big ole WAKADOME - a vintage 6 x 24 foot Custom built Tomy AFX track in Gardena, CA. The race was held on Saturday September 19, 2009. The Modified Cars being raced are BSRT G3s, Slottech T1 and T2s, and Wizzard Storms. Featured racers are: Eddie "The Snake" Torres, Ben "The Viper" Vasquez, Oscar "Big O" Morales, Benito "The Panther" Vasquez, and John "Waka" Wakamatsu. Turn Marshalls are: Jim "Mr Concours" Williams, Tim "LaneSticker's Bunch, Tibby "Tib", and Aaron "The Factor" Wakamatsu. Camera dude is G. Morgan

Damm those things are fast. I have an Aurora O gauge track. Somehow I ended up with one HO scale convertible, and that thing was superfast like yours. I always thought it was because it was getting enough juice to pull a much heavier O gauge car.

yeah, i have a whole truckload of slot cars/parts from that era. i got out of a house i was cleaning, and they all work gr8. love the vintqage stuff. now all i need is some bell bottoms, and an 80.s tshirt

This is cool! I just got back into slots about a month ago and have been buying like crazy to augment my stuff from the 60's 70s and 80's.. when are the next races? And that web site rocks. Give me the old school t-jets and afx and tyco though.. weaker magnets demand better racing skills in my opinion
