The way I see it, the mere fact that you even feel guilty about not feeling guilty about simply being unable (because of time restrictions)to answer everyone the way you'd like, shows me you must be an awesome person. "Guilt" has no place here at all.
Yes, by ALL means reward yourself w/ the phenomenal day outside your door.
"time" is a tool of videl, it makes demands of you, ie saying be here or there at this moment or your fired, it also places limitations on you ie you'll live til your 80. i personally dont believe in "time" for the reasons stated above.
Well here is the deal--time seems to shrink as you get older,, my point is that when I was a kid it took a long time to get from breakfast to lunch. The line "are we there yet" wasn't invented to agrivate parents --I believe from their prospective (youth) it does take a long time. Now as for the Guilt thing -- I think that it is responsible to feel guilt for something that you did wrong or that caused pain in some way BUT it is arrogant to asume guilt for something over which you had no control
Guilt is like an apology. How can you apologize to someone who asks you to apologize for something that you had no idea of causing anything to offend that person. If someone has to ask you to apologize then you obviously did not think you did anything or you do not think you need to apologize. An apologize is unsolicited. Guilt also has to come from inside. You can't feel guilty for not feeling guilty since you can't feel guilty in the first place unless another causes you to feel guilty.

you should feel guilty for not replying to my comments because I give blood every month.

I have had moments where I felt no guilt about something I should have felt guilty about. Days later the guilt would creep in a little though.
