(Rachels thoughts)
*Okay, I think Im imagining things again. I know he felt me shiver, meaning he knew the affect whispering in my ear had on me. Thats why he teased me about wearing a coat. Right? Why does this boy have to be so confusing? Hello, stupid!! What about Brian? You were all excited to go to Homecoming with him, what now? Every time Joe smiles or talks to you, youre going to question your feelings for Brian? No. No, I like Brian. I am excited to go to Homecoming with him. Joe is my friend. Brian could be more. Ugh, I HAVE to stop arguing with myself in my head. Wow, Im weird.*
*Normal POV*
*Sarah could sense something was bugging Rachel, so during the club scene in Baby Mama [AN. Love that movie, so funny.], Sarah paused it. Rachel turned to look at Sarah with a curious look on her face.*
Sarah:*turns her body to face Rachel* Whats with you tonight? Youredistant. Like youre here physically but not mentally.
Rachel:*blank look*
Sarah:*completely serious* No, dont do that. You know what I mean. Tell me.
Rachel:*sigh* Im confused.
Sarah: Well now so am I. What do you mean? What are you confused about?
Rachel:*mumbles something*
Sarah: What was that?
Rachel: I said Im confused about Joe and Brian.
Sarah: Go on. Elaborate.
Rachel: Okay so Im going to the dance with Brian right? *Sarah nods* And I think Im really starting to like him. But for some reason that stupid crush I had on Joe keeps popping back up. I thought I was over him. We are friends. Im glad we are friends but its like my mind, stomach, and heart have different plans.
Sarah: What?
Rachel: Okay I am truly excited for the dance, I cant wait to go with Brian. But then theres Joe. We are friends. We made that clear after the kiss. But then he will do something and my chest feels like there is a weight on it and my stomach does flips. *pause* AndI think he is flirting with me. But that could just be my mind playing tricks on me.
Sarah: What did he do?
Rachel: What did who do?
Sarah:*sighs* Joe.
Rachel: Well today. Okay, this morning when I went over to get Kevin so we could pick you up, I ran into Joe. And I mean I literally ran into him and we fell. Then we were talking about Barney and I said Id be back at 4 pm so we could watch it in their living room and I said cant wait. Then he said you got it, see ya later Rach. Thenhe winked at me and walked into his room.
Sarah: I dont think a wink constitutes as flirting, you winked at Kevin earlier.
Rachel: I know that. It was the fact that my stomach flipped when he winked that had me questioning it.
Sarah: Okay, fair enough. Anything else happen?

right when i started reading my radio went insane and said the time was 0:00 and made a very high pitch squealing sound and me, being the smart one i am, didn't evn think to unplug it so i just sat here with my hands over my ears reading the story and my brother had to remind me that it was pluged in. its a good thing he was here otherwise it would still be screaming. lol
