I use an app on my iPhone called "Lose It". It's great. You can use a daily food diary, and event scan bar codes on packaged foods that you eat! it counts calories, fat, protein, counts it all! Also keeps a graph of your weight loss, and other stuff too!
hey ur looking alot better since the day of surgury .... i need to upload a year update soon lol... i am learning nutrition and fitness. so if you need a heads up on calories...and requiremnts ect...i can help with exact healthy goals.....Like your basic calorie intake ect....just need a few details like height...age....weight :) hope all is good anyways and let me know :)
Back to the basics means to me: tracking protein keeping calories under 1200 , low carbs protein first and 60+ oz of water. Also exercising daily. Im stalling because of getting away from the basics. I really need to get back on track.

Having the lapband for me is a tool, to help me loose weight .I had my surgery on Jan 11.2011 starting weight was 255 my goal for Jan11 2012 is 55lbs. It's been an up and down journey,it's not easy. The bottom line for me is that I see a differents in my health and it's a one day at a time journey.
I'm joining you Tamika~ I'm committed to leaving 2011 in better shape and better health than I was when it arrived! Here's to a bright, shining, healthy & happy NEW YEAR. I'll make my fb folder tonight.
Protein 1st, portion control, eating slowly, water intake, exercise and journal.
