Ae Fond Kiss (Obi-Wan/Padme)

Obidala. Padme survives childbirth and goes into hiding with Leia on Alderaan while Obi-Wan takes Luke to Tatoonine. This is Padme's soothing song to a battle-worn and broken-hearted Obi-Wan as they part for the final time. Alone in his desert hut, Obi-Wan hears her voice and remembers how they used to sing together, and Padme discovers he's not quite as far away as she thinks.

I wanted to watch some Obidala and found your video in my favorites. I added it long ago, so I didn't remember what it was about. And I watched. ..IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL! Got me completely mesmerized :) I'll surely watch it again and again and again. Thanks for making this amazing vid!!!

Personally, I think Obiwan/Padme makes a whole lot more sense than Anakin/Padme. I mean, they were at least close to the same age.

PrimaViolinist - The pedant in me just has to point out the song Ae Fond Kiss is a Robert Burns song and in this case it's sung by Eddie Reader all of which makes it just a bit Scottish not Irish :-)

I've watched hundreds of mvids for my favorite pairings, and as Obidala is one of my MOST favorite, I've seen more than my fair share. And they're hard because you have so little to work with, but may I just say, this is hands down the most PHENOMENAL AR vid I've EVER seen. The songs were PERFECT, the addition of Ewan singing, the fluidity of the overlays. . . magnifique!!!!
