There are over 400 chemicals in weed... it doesn't matter the quantity of the chemicals, it's the harm they do. Weed ain't much better, I don't know why people think cigs are horrible and weed's ok - most people inhale weed smoke deeper and hold it for longer, the smoke still condenses to form tar and can give you emphysema or lung cancer. The only reason more tobacco smokers die from these diseases than weed smokers is that cigarette smokers smoke more often.

There are chemicals in cannabis smoke that destroy cancerous cells. Tobacco naturally contains Polonium isotopes that help cause cancer. But yes, other than that, the smoke is very similar, and weed could damage your lungs if smoked like cigarettes. But I DARE someone to smoke twenty decent joints in a day. After five you wouldn't be able to find your lighter.
