US politicians get richer despite recession

While many people in the US continue to find it difficult to make ends meet, Washington politicians have a different experience.

Not only have they escaped the worst of the recession, many are getting richer.

Al Jazeera's John Hendren reports from the US state of West Virginia.

if people made a LIVING wage for full time work (which is fair) then people ("99%") would not have debt, would not be ensared by finance and banks. this is y the ruling class and wall st do not want this, because they get their power from interest-money from nothing just because that is the "rule"--and would lose control over the people making living wages. they do want high employment or living wage law (instead of minimum wage law)
