This is the elevator at Sears in Westfield Sunrise Mall in Massapequa NY. This has the original panel on the left side and an additional panel was installed, which is and Epco SSL panel. Dover only made fixtures at the time not elevators, so dover made the old fixtures. This also got new Epco INCHline hall buttons and hall lanterns. The floor-passong chime on the Epco SSL panel is my favorite elevator sound.

  • The Brand is BurlingtonDover

  • No, its Burlington because Dover only made fixtures at the time, which was the early 70's.

  • Nice elevator, and it's interesting to see the original control panel mixed with a new panel.

  • Yes, this is a nice elevator and they probably didn't want to bother to remove the old panel.

  • The buttons remind me of the Macy's buttons.

  • 1973 is the same year that the Burlington mod by Dover elevator at Macy's at the staten island mall was installed!!!!!!!!

  • Probably because they didn't want to pay too much for a new panel.
