I can hear your kids at the background audio sound. You still using the H2 handy recorder? Seems like it's not on the table already. Hmm..

Anyway, even if I am a beginner. Spending with a little more on a better camera for longer capacity used especially if I'm really into HD videos. The 600D is the best and right choice with so many more new features as compared to the 1100D. Example, if I am a creative film/photography student, the 600D truly brings great used for me. Nevertheless, great vid!

@austintheng - Used a wireless lavalier plugged into my Zoom H2 to try to cut out the sound of the kids playing upstairs.  Ended up just waiting for them to have a nap.

Canon has to really re-think their naming system.I have to keep googling their model numbers to understand what i am looking at.

So I have the 1100D, and am making a lot of city and landscape shots with it while traveling. I'm not using it for shooting movies at all, and don't care about the screen. I do however want to capture the places I go to as best as I can. Would you recommend to me trading in the 1100D (at 50% of the original price) for the 600D ? Or just infest into a new lens. Thanks.
