*Janette's POV*
Janette: No, it wasn't. Can I talk to you?
Joe: Sure.
He said as he moved out of the way so I could walk into his suite, and I did. As he shut the door I turned around so I was facing him. And, it hit me that I was in a hotel suite with the hottest guy on the planetalone. Okay some people might disagree, but I say he's the hottest guy on the planet. I opened my mouth to speak and nothing came out. I could feel my heart pounding. I shut my mouth closed my eyes and took another deep breath and let it out.
Joe: Umm...Janette? Are you okay?
I opened my eyes to see Joe's worried eyes looking down at me. Which for some reason made my relax...
Janette: Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little confused. Why are you...I don't know...depressed?
Joe sighed and sat down on his sofa and I sat beside him studding his expression...
Janette: Joe. You can tell me.
I said playfully elbowing his side, which made him sway slightly. He turned to me...
Joe: It's you Janette.
I was doing this to him?! How?!...
Janette: How?
Joe: I know I can't date you right now. And, it's killing me. But, you're going on vacation for the rest of the summer too.
He slumped over and sighed again. I felt bad that I couldn't tell him where I wanted to go for vacation. I just couldn't it would ruin everything. I sighed...
Janette: I'm sorry Joe.
I said while looking at my hands...
Joe: No. Dont be sorry, this is not your problem. It's okay, I got you something that'll help.
He said a little bit of light re-entering his face. I smiled...
Janette: Well, then let me have it.
I grinned...
Joe: I was going to give it to you tomorrow, but since you're here.
He said as he got up and pulled a bag out of a drawer...
Joe: Here.
He handed my the bag and I took out the box that was inside of it. I saw what it was and stood up to hug him. He chuckled...
Joe: So you think it's a good idea?
Janette: It's a great idea.*smiles*
Joe: I thought that this way we could see each other and talk even when you're not here.
See I knew he was intelligent. I leaned up and quickly pecked his cheek teasingly...
Joe: Oh, you tease!
Janette: *wink* That's what I was going for.
Just then I realized that I'm still in Joe's arms hugging him, I tried to pull away but I couldn't move...
Janette: Joe!
Joe: You think I'm gonna let you go, after you teased me like that?
I smirked...
Janette: I suggest you let me go so I can get to Taylors, or I will do worse things to tease you.
Joe gasped...
Joe: Wait. Taylors?
Janette: Yeah, we're having a sleepover.
He nodded. Then looked back at me and smirked...
Joe: Now what exactly are you going to do to tease me more?
I put on a sly smile, he still wasn't letting me go. I pushed him so he was up against the wall and pressed my body hard against his. He groaned and released me from the hug...
Joe: Okay, I get it you're a teaser. But, I'm warning you, I can be even worse.
He said winking at me...
Janette: Oh, is that so?
I said smiling...
Joe: Heck, yeah!
Oh! Cocky much...
Janette: You wanna bet?
Joe: You're on. Whoever melts in each others arms first wins.
I nodded and we shook hands on it. I turned and picked up my bag and laptop camera Joe got me and was about to walk out the door when he quickly pinned my up against the closed door, smirking down at me. Uh, oh...
Joe: I got this bet in the bag. You can't resist me.
Janette: Well, I agreed to the bet so that means I think I can.
I said with a sassy attitude. I hope I'm right... He leaned down to my neck and I felt his breath on my collar bone. He wasn't kissing me just breathing...definitely teasing me. I'm going insane! I moved my hand and pulled on his hair at the back of his head and with the other I played with the back edge of his shirt lightly moving my fingers up and down his back. He tensed up and backed away...
Joe: You're good.
Janette: Thanks.*smirks* Now I have to go.
I picked up my stuff again because Joe made me drop it...
Joe: Okay, I'll text you later.
I smiled and nodded as I walked out of the door and into the elevator. PRETZEL!!! I can't believe I had the nerve to do that to Joe! Whoa, sometimes I shock myself...
