Resistance 3 - Review

Resistance is back. This time we already lost. We have very little chance of surviving but John will try anyway. For his family and all of man kind he must travel to New York and try to stop the end of the world. Resistance has always been a personal favorite of mine, does the third installment live up to the series name? Find out by watching the review!

Just beat the game and I have to tell SOMEONE about how disappointed I am about the bosses. No Angel at all, which would have been badass since it wasn't in the last one, AND they over use the Brawler and Widowmaker bosses. I think that this is the definitive resistance game, but Resistance 2 had the best bosses, and a few better guys(pulse cannon, LAARK, etc.).

In my honest opinion, the graphics look a bit similar to crysis 2! no kidding :O

@nodonian The characters personalities are better in R3 than in R2, where everybody with the excpetion of Hale and the old guy, were bland and had no personality. I thought R3 had more ineteresting characters IMO.

the soundtrack was forgettable, and the multiplayer just borrowed too many elements from other games so it didn't really have an identity.

All that said, I respect everyone else's opinion of the game (that means you Whitey). Final Score: 7

Resistance 3 really disappointed me. I had such high hopes for this game.

The Good: I like the fact that your health doesn't regenerate over time, the guns are quite entertaining, the gameplay is largely smooth, and there is a suprising plot twist.

The Bad: The character personalities felt bland to me, the environments may have looked nice but they felt boring, the NPCs were downright dumb so there were some areas that glitched and didn't let me pass through (at least on the version I played),
