Some of the most memorable music for brass was written by Renaissance composer Giovanni Gabrieli, and this new ensemble from Sydney (formed for a Sydney Chamber Choir concert) played some of it and talked about how they got 'surround sound' back in the 16th century. In this video, the chamber performs Canzona per sonore No. 4 by Giovanni Gabrieli.

Musicians:
David Cervi, trumpet
Nigel Crocker, bass trombone
Andrew Evans, trumpet
Will Farmer, trombone
Matt Harrison, trombone
Bruce Hellmers, trumpet
Roslyn Jorgensen, trombone
Justin Lingard, trumpet
Roland Peelman was the conductor, and Natalie Shea, who sings with the Sydney Chamber Choir, also spoke.
