Aside from badass skins what if you want something for performance rather than style would there be a skin for that or, would the default be the best choice.

you can now. Just copy over the files from one of the existing skins to a new folder with a new name. Edit it, then, to activate it, go to your debug setting named "skincurrent" and type in the name of the new folder.
