One error: The first practical incandescent lamps used carbon filaments, not tungsten. The coiled tungsten filament was not introduced until 1913. Tungsten filaments appeared a few years earlier, but their sintered design (drawing tungsten into wire was not yet possible) made them very fragile. Tantalum was also used for lamp filaments, but it could only be used on DC.
