Using our proprietary system these movie posters were converted into 3D for use as holograms. However, when they are 3D, you can look at them from different angles!

  • Brilliant How the heck did you make them into 3D?

  • @MrGrayTube Thanks. That's a big question. We start with a plugin we wrote for Photoshop/After-Effects and then take the output from that into Maya. There we use a script that we developed to create the frames for the lenticular.

I know that isn't very detailed, but we need to keep our technology secret.

  • that was ehhhh. but i have seen the spiderman poster in real life and the effect looks way better here than the poster. but never the less it looked cool

  • @elbarto113 Thanks, but you can't have seen the poster in real life. We made one prototype (which I have here) but didn't go into production.

You saw the pathetic attempts by our competition; flat and uninspiring. That will be why it looks better here; because it has been converted by us!

  • Awesome!

  • @jerseydevilxx Thank you.

  • so.... you sell those things?

  • That's OK, I still like tour work and appreciate the lengths you go to producing these posters, I have subscribed

  • link to the website that sells thesE?

  • @KevinBul I expected something like that. I've been roaming the web for the last couple of days for any sort of 3D Inception poster - without any success. I just came back from a 2 1/2 months trip to the US. I was fortunately enough to watch Inception at the Imax (San Francisco) as well - at it's opening day at the first performance with a group of 10 people. Big applause at the ende for a masterpiece of a movie. Watched it for a second time last weekend :-). Up Next: the German dubbed one.
