Yes KSE with Howard Jones have great Metal synergy. Other notable Metal acts with a talented African American singer that I've always liked: Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust and Bonz of Stuck Mojo. Both bands from ATL with totally different vocals and styles. If you've never heard of Stuck Mojo, dig up anything from Rising or Pigwalk. I seen Sevendust in 2000 with my brother at the Metro here in CHI. They killed it and at that time they were unknown and not even headlining the show.
