lol these people. world of warcraft is one of the most successful MMO's to date, yes the UI is similar, because it's basic and you can clearly see every thing that needs to be seen with a quick glance, if you are not familiar with MMO's in general you will not relise that this UI is used in pretty much every game of this genre.
There is no game that will topple wow in the next 5 years at least reason- it not only defined the genre it took it to the next level.

@stingy1sam difficulty is something that should be given in moderation... a learning curve if you will... i'm not at all defending WoW, i think since gc took over the design mechanics of the game have gone down the toilet
wow has always been bad at class balancing and honestly, i thought it was getting better in wotlk, but it just plunged when cata went live
i was afraid rift would try to copy wow too much and we'd just have the same game, but atm it does look rather promising

I hate to do a WoW comparison but since this is obviously a strong competitor, A level 27 WoW boss compared to a level 27 Rift boss... enough said tbh...

Pangya you're an idiot. So is anyone who calls this game WoW or a WoW killer.
The game is in the same genre, of course it has a similar UI and is set in a similar world. WoW was similar to a lot of it's predecessors as well, you're obviously too young to remember that.
Just about every COD or Medal of Honor game looks the same to me, does that mean it's the same game? No.

i don't want this game to kill wow, i did play wow for hmm 5-6 years, just bored with wow, i just want to have the epic feeling again, to discover stuff, to pwn noobs, to get the epic item and feel like it realy IS epic... yes it does resemble wow, i couldn't care less, is it fun? after playing 30+ hours in the last event i found the game to be realy fun, i found the class that i like and i can't wait for the game to go live!
