Hard to believe this is what a normal film looked like just 15 years ago. It has the "feel" of 50 years ago, for some reason!
Seeing the sad history of American wild turkeys and their domesticated brothers and sisters, I have a deeper appreciation for these gentle birds -- and a deeper disgust for our tyranny over them. Such hubris. Such arrogance. Such delusions of grandeur. Surely doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly doesn't include killing and eating turkeys -- or any creature.
