The efficient operation of the lymphatic system is essential for the elimination of toxins and for the immune system and digestive function to work well. Lymphatic movement relies primarily on exercise, and when exercise is inhibited due to ill health (such as ME or cancer), the lymphatic system may cease to work efficiently. One of the consequences of this is that toxins are not eliminated effectively from the body.

This video demonstrates, step by step - and at such a pace that you can do the exercises yourself as we go along - how to stimulate the lymphatic system by massaging reflex points on the body. This method comes from Touch for Health kinesiology, and involves (1) activating 14 major postural muscles; and (2) massaging neuro-lymphatic reflex points which relate to those muscles. Each of the 14 muscles relates to a different energy channel (meridian), and each channel is associated with a particular organ. Massaging the reflex point encourages lymphatic drainage from the associated organ.

Please now watch part II of this lymphatic stimulation programme.
