  • Part 3. When a member falls, he must answer to God and ask for forgiveness. Church leaders are not there to condemn, but to help pick up the pieces and rebuild.Leaders are certainly loved and appreciated, but they are not worshiped. Finally, in a cult, leaving is discouraged if not prohibited. Although no Nazarene wants to see people leave the church, it is not prohibited. People come and go all the time.Just because you don't want to have anything to do with a church does not mean it is a cult.

  • Part 2. Also in a cult, the leader has more influence than the God they pretend to worship. Members get their teaching from only the leader, and what the leader says is law. The leader is both judge and jury. In the Nazarene church, members are encouraged to read the Bible for themselves to discover meaning and lessons. Leaders do not want members to take the pastor's word for it. Leaders recognize that pastors are human and make mistakes too. End part 2.

  • I do not go to this church, but I am familiar with the Nazarene church, and it is certainly not a cult. One characteristic of a cult is mind control. The Nazarene church encourages theological, intellectual, and personal discovery through discussions and debates. People are encouraged to know what they believe and WHY they believe it. This involves thinking. End of Part 1.

  • What God wants of you? What are you a moron? Without all the stupidity you can figure out what the creator of life wants of you. Live to your best potential. Be happy and healthy. There now you don't have to be told what a sinner you are or how sinful every one else is nor do you isolate yourself from society when the cult tells you certain things are too worldly. The church God is evil. What loving God demands worship or else sends you to hell? Come on folks wake up.

  • Definitely a cult like mentality going on. The sad message is very simple. Hey you sinner bound for vile hell Worship our Loving God or in all his love he will shove you into vile hell. Not much love with that egomaniacle type of God but it seems to work as we all fear the unknown of death. In the process you are raped mentally by a cult that takes your common sense. Sadly some can't monitor their own behavior and need these cults to guide them. The leader is praised like a God.

  • hi im future youth pastor we are not a cult

  • Hey there people, i am apart of this youth group, and i wanna let you know it's not a colt or anything lol. It's a bunch of kids starving for what God has planned for our lives. You say that we are poor deffensless kids and we have done nothing. but we do need to repent because i know that all of the kids shown on here have done stupid things that we need to be forgiven for!! :D

    GodBless!

  • Scary, freaky fanatics, indoctrinating defenseless children to behave against their nature and curiosity. You people are evil and intolerant towards the rest of humanity.

If it was up to me, you would all stand trial before the people.

  • Wow--looks like an awesome ministry you have. Sounds like you have done a great job.
