Ana Kasparian and Cenk Uygur break down an offensive YouTube rant by a UCLA business major who decries (among other things) 'rude' Asians talking on their cell phones in the library while she's trying to study for finals. She doesn't have much sympathy for those who might be calling to check on family members in Japan in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami.

Yeah, she's a dumb bitch, but I couldn't agree with her more on Asians using the library to socialise and make phone calls. Do that stuff somewhere else please. I've seen the odd white guy behave this way, and I say the same to those rude pricks as well, however, it is only the Asian students who do this in large groups. This isn't racist, it's culturalist, I don't like this aspect of Chinese (mostly) culture because it is inconsiderate....so sue me.

How did she get into college? It's quite simple, education has nothing to do with intelligence. A complete moron can easily get into a well-respected college. Your ability to study and learn the incredibly simple content in high school requires intelligence only above that of a mentally retarded person. Anyone can finish high school with excellent grades if they try, which will pretty much guarantee a spot in a high profile college.

The irony pointed out is true. But is this really racism? Or is it "culturalism"?

Asian immigrants come from a different culture, and have different cultural norms, which seems to be what she is really talking about. To me, the core idea of racism is that one race is superior/inferior to another, and thats not in this post.

Either way, I'm sure the post is going to offend a lot of people, and accomplishes nothing.

arabs are about 100x worse in the libraries where i go to school. everything is very quite until about 7 of them come in speaking arabic extremely loud, and all of them are talking at once. its just so rude, u can socialize anywhere else in the school but people r trying to work in the library. whites, blacks and asians of course are guilty of it too very often, but arabs are extremely frequent
