The Liguus Fasciatus tree snails live in tropical hardwood hammocks of south Florida. The average about 2 to 3 inches long as adults and live about 5 years. They are famous for their colorful shell patterns. Their diet consists of algae and fungus. The snails I show here were all in a single hammock in southwest Florida.
Take only photographs and leave only footprints!
