this is a level 29 Ranger in Conall's Valley.
FYI My PC specs:
Intel Core 2 6600 @2.40GHz
2GB of RAM
Nvidia 7950 GT 512
Game Settings are set pretty low. I avg ~ 30 fps

It makes the game so much better that you have to aim at or near them.

uhm... he is rotating his CAMERA you said it yourself... his character is still facing his target... you can miss if you move your character a bit away from your target and then try to attack. do you even think before you type?

hm, I'm wondering if rangers are good just like assassins. assassins have a poor weapon choice, but they look cool when you can gather enemy souls for your power. but I still wish to have more weapons other than daggers and crossbow.

If ranger class zooms all the way in to first person view, you will get crosshairs that you can manually aim. In this view you do more damage. Also, you can choose which side to hit of your attacker, left, right, or center depending on the shielding position. There is alot more to it then this video shows akirosette.

Not sure if you have been told or by now since its been a month ago, but rangers are pretty cool. I have a level 27 ranger that I love. You really got to get past 20 to get the true feel of being a ranger, until you leave tortage your basically a rogue with a bow, lol. I still used my bow 99% of the time anyway just to get used to it. Your best friend is SALVO. Every rank has a different recast time so you can stack it, which makes us very nice DPS. By the time a mob gets to my feet, they die.

sorry let me clarify that a little, even if your targeted and facing the target you can miss if you face your character to far to the side
