And I believe that the ashes in a circle are to prevent the smoke monster from coming and the house is where Richard would live before tons of people started coming to the Island because he knew that the MIB wanted to kill him.

@Favre4ever123 isnt it interesting how many times the people in lost are confronted with circles? walking in circles, the circle of life, ash-circle, looping messages, a record being stuck in a loop for example when desmond plays it in the hatch 2x01 :)

Most of this makes good sense but when Jack finds the remains of the guy and girl in the the cave we find out in season 6 it is the MIB and his mother, not rose and brenard.

@Favre4ever123 this is true, but consider the whole season 6 as an emergency exit from a story, which would have needed another 2 or 3 seasons to fullfil the circle. when you google it you will find evidence, that the writers told the audience long before season 6 that there was a word-riddle called "bones of Nadlers may lay lost deep in cave". this already foreshadowed timetraveling. the whole story was based on timetraveling. an endless circle, but they backed off from it. sucks :(((

Thats true. I always thought in the end everything should have just been a story made up by Jack and that he was a messed up person who wrote a book called LOST and never published it. In the end in Limbo he would be in the same room with the lost characters because they were the only good thing in his life even though they weren't real. Then when the light goes the story starts and 6 seasons all according to Jack and he is the hero of coarse.
