  • I was sitting in a hotel in Metairie watching the news thinking we would be home in two days. Worse mistake I ever made.

  • I was so glad that I left New Orleans before things got this bad...I left before the mandatory evac. was called on that Sunday. We came home to a house that was still standing but we got 3-4 feet of water. We're just moving back in 2 years later. Don't let anyone tell you that we're back to normal. We still have 100 bodies that are unidentified.

Parrish where it first came ashore is where Boothville is located and that where a bunch of oil reiners where located and every single one of them was underwater after she came through (vience is where the off shore oil guys get the helcopter to go out to there rigs 20-25 miles off shore and the rigs were torn from there hinges)Thats a powerful storm!
