  • It does not matter what size speaker it is. The 9 volts works for all sizes. In fact, it is ok to use a 1.5 volt size (D) cell, except that the coil will just have less motion.

  • i did that to my dad and scared the crap out of him be holding my electro voice 18 inch woofer and using a 9 volt when he wasnt expecting it, now the woofer is reconed and in its proper place, in my ev eleminator bass bin
