and also.. they didn´t go through the worst of disasters.... the rise of christianity.

@JoeRingo118 I don't think you get it. Japan knows about his problems. Their infrastructures are built to resist earthquakes and tsunamis (well at a certain point). Most of the population also knows how to reacts because it's part of their lives. About 15000 were dead but i can guarantee that the casualties rates would have been a lot worst if it happened in a poor country like Indonesia. Japan is one of the best countries when it comes to technology and it can take the hit.
