On October 1, 2010, Rhode Islanders rallied at the State House in Providence to show their support for a proposed "Arizona-style" anti-immigration bill, introduced by state rep. Peter Palumbo. The rally was sponsored by Rhode Islanders for Immigration Law Enforcement (RIILE), the Minuteman Project, and the Rhode Island Tea Party.
Clowns for Immigration Law Enforcement joined dozens of other local citizens calling for an end to the massive influx of immigrants. This is our story.

Arizona SB1070 is not an "anti-immigrant" law since it does not affect lawful persons who legally immigrate to the USA as tourists, business persons or to seek permanent status.
SB1070 only focuses on illegal aliens who are unlawfully present in the USA, as is required of all states under Article 4 Section 4.
