  • hey right now no band can touch the Crowes!! see them live to understand!!!

  • So many many many songs come from this song. 'can you see' 'Dear Mr. Fantasy' 'Hunger Strike'....just keep thinkin' of them...They're there. Velvet Underground are undisputed champs of cool. The Black Crowes carrying that torch so damn well, man.

  • cool cover

  • @gauvin5 So did half the audience. You can hear them start to sing "gonna take a freight train" just before Chris starts singing.

  • @cameljoe212 Wow, overreact much? Jesus. The guy was just pointing out that Traffic wrote that song years before VU.

  • @salgoudsamoht u are a fucking smug prick. Shut the fuck up and throw yourself off a bridge you piece of shit.

  • @Creekdud interesting space/time configuration you possess since the studio version of 'dear mr. fantasy' was released in studio version in 1967, about three years before VU released the seminal Oh! Sweet Nuthin' on 'loaded. perhaps you refer to the live version of mr. fantasy on traffic's live album from 1971. perhaps mr. winwood was channeling mr. reed, or vice versa. the inner sequence of the liberating sounds of sweet nuthin' can be found far and wide if we look for them. happy huntingmmmmn.

  • nice guitar tones wow

  • @tattedcrowes I have been a huge fan of both forever and it all comes down to preferance.

  • @keckler2 They are rock and roll ! The best live band for a while. Chris Robinson has soul baby

  • @keckler2

they do put on an awesome show, easily top 5 favorites.....

  • @tattedcrowes techinically, it was 1983, but they really started to put out Phish music around 88 IMO - not to mention they are still the original line-up..........as far as bands are concerned, they are one of the best IMO of course, don't get your panties bunched.
