I have this same 1989 GE Clock radio cassett recorder and it's model # is 74956A. This is a wonderful strong radio it brings in my A M station beautyifully, but I am sorry to say that I can't get my cassett to work at all. I bought it used but is otherwise in excelllent shape. I don't know what the problem could be with the cassett player! .
