@77coconutprincess please tell your friends that like his books that he does NOT teach from the holy bible, but from a book called THE MESSAGE, written by a guy who wanted to rewrite the bible in his own words to satisfy his students. complete apostasy. i praise god that his holy spirit revealed that rick warren is not of god to you. that's why he is SO dangerous - his words are filled with new age teachings that are pleasing to peoples' ears.

Personally, I wouldn't trust any person who is popular. Satan tends to use them to deceive the masses. What is highly esteemed among men is detestable to God (I'm paraphrasing... it says it somewhere in the Bible).
Instead of reading the feel good Purpose Driven Life, just read straight from the Bible especially the Gospels.

I knew something was wrong when I read Rick's book. Now after seeing this and other videos on YouTube regarding Rick being a true Christian, my gut feeling were right. (My church did the "Purpose Driven Church" and many of my Christian friends really like Rick Warren's books. I pray they open their eyes! I also noticed that the tagline on the book says, "What on earth am I here for?" Read the Bible and you'll know. Why did Rick have to right a book on what the Bible has already outlined for us?
