  • 365 takes eh?

Definately shows in the quality of the soliloquy, ill give you that!!

However, there is something missing, something fundamental and essential.

To find this, im going to ask you to do the soliloquy again, and in the middle of it close your eyes.. and listen.. is there someone watching you?

    then continue the soliloquy.

do all of this without ending the performance, and tell me what you heard.

:D (yes, i am getting to a point and it has nothing to do the person watching you etc)

  • that sounds like a great exercise !!! When I get home from India.... I might be motivated to do another Hamlet. for now, I'm complete with my experience. peace, Shaktim

  • POW! This was grand pal! I loved it :) Such brilliance!

  • this is good! you did ask me to compare to david's so, here goes. davids was very good in terms of conveying emotions through his face and voice, and settings had some effect on it. yours was pretty much the same, but it felt like something was missing but i can't put my finger on it. you my friend are very good, prehaps you should try to get yourself into something big, get yourself a big break because i think you could make it!

  • It feels external 'character', Hamlet has many layers to him, among other things, he is confused... this can only be done if YOU are experiencing in THE MOMENT, so in the middle of the speech, when you stop and listen, it doesn't matter what you hear... it matters if you what you heard was processed by:

    not Hamlets brain..

    but your own brain.

Hamlet must be you, and not a character, otherwise it translates into the external 'Characatures' of hamlet.

But who is hamlet?..he is none other than you!

  • Oh! I see this was the 365th of 365.. one every day of the year.. I get it!. :)

The performance was great, perhaps one of the best on youtube, though I felt there was something quite noticeable:

  • Thank you Ludger ... that is very kind ... peace, Shaktim
