Minecraft: Fast Cobblestone Generator v2.0 (85 blocks per minute)

New improved design of my cobblestone generator.
This version uses pistons to completely avoid block loss, bringing the mined blocks up to 85 per minute!

I worked a lot on this, mostly to make it as compact as possible (my first attempt with pistons was a huge, overcomplicated contraption covering an area of 10 x 13 blocks).

I am pretty happy with this design, it's fast and reliable.
Hope it will help someone build something awesome with all that cobble!

I don't know what happened but this doesn't work anymore :( the two normal pistons at the back aren't being powered, and yes, I did it exactly the same as in the video

Yeah, could someone please give the names for the songs? I recognize the first one is a remix of a song in minecraft, but I don't know if the 2nd is another C418 tune.

Anyone else finds that their back redstone torch next to water gets destroyed sometimes by cobble?

I'm using this in SMP servers so it sometimes screw it up, i think its just cuz lag but can anyone tell meh how to fix that?

Works well in Singleplayer soooo yeah

it is, but quite a mess.

you use facts like

- skellies move right when targetting you

- creepers run faster than zombies straight to you

- skellies trying to shoot you

- you have creepers below you

- creepers will attack skellies if they were hit by an aroow

- creepers blow holes into cobblestone

This.. This... Is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I realize the redstone wiring isn't that complicated, but still... Never thought of it. This will help me greatly with the skyblock server I'm on, as you can trade 1 enderpearl for 10 redstone :D (phanaticmd.no-ip.org)
