  • You guys did an awesome job on the series. I really enjoyed every second of it.

  • @diramonsky Glad you liked it!

  • Diphon, thank you for clarifying. You did great work with the FX effects. May I ask if you (or team) used an assortment of plug-ins with your LW9, or was it straight LW9? Also, what type of renderfarm did you use, and what rendering engine? Thanks again for your kind reply...

  • @Electrifly All of my stuff was straight LW. The only Plug-in I remember being used was for the water displacement. I think we used BNR. As for the farm it was a bunch of workstations on a shelf in the kitchen strapped down with bungie cords in case of an earthquake.

  • Hello DiphonFX,

Can you please discern what part of Battle 360 you actually lead on? I've seen the series on History Channel and I own LW 5-8, but I cannot see how one person could've lead all of this work alone. There are models, animation and rigs, let alone the composites, that would require one huge team or more. Surely, you're only implying that you worked on part of this series.

Certainly, I am not doubting your abilities, but the title implys that you were lead for it entirely...

  • @Electrifly I was FX lead, so I was responsible for all the "FX" Elements. Fire, smoke, explosions, etc.

In total it was a team of about 20 people.

  • very very nice!!!!

  • Outstanding work on the entire series! As an older guy, I've seen nearly all the old original clips many, many times over the years. Your CG work was like missing pieces to a very large puzzle. It just added a whole new perspective to what I already knew, and the narrative made that entire part of history much easier to follow. Oh, and the sound effects just rocked my speakers! Great work! And thanks!

  • how many poly count? render time?

  • @DiphonFX fuck man!

    you are pro!

looks like a facking realistic game or a movie!

    keep it up!

  • THIS WAS THE MOST KICK BUT SERIES I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!! THANKS!!!

  • Looks alot like the game IL2... Great job :D
